About Our Accommodation
Height Gate is available on a sole-use basis. We can sleep up to 32 in bunk beds, plus additional guests camping outside in tents. Guests have to provide their own bedding. There are a total of four bedrooms; the first bedroom is downstairs and accessible and has one 2 beds. The other three bedrooms are situated upstairs in a configuration of 8 beds, 10 beds and 12 beds. The property is self catering with all the facilities you need to feed a group of this size. Nestled up on the South Pennines, Height Gate is the perfect place for charities and other organisations to hire to enjoy the beautiful location and its surrounding beauty.
Height Gate can be hired by by a range of groups who wish to enjoy our beautiful surroundings. It can also be hired by organisations and charities for a range of activities from wellness and yoga retreats to training weekends or artist residentials .
Schools and youth groups can use Height Gate for outdoor educational provision and activities. We offer a discount to these groups when booking.

Key information to know before booking
Height Gate is a self catering, sole use, bunk house accommodation. You will need to supply all of your bedding. It is nestled up on the South Pennines and is reached by a winding track. The barn is located near other houses and in a quiet, beautiful area. Height Gate is NOT suitable for any types of loud parties including Hen and Stag parties. It is suited for guests who want to explore and respect the local environment and neighboring residences.
